Türkiye Yüzyılı in Production

11. The Türkiye Yüzyılı in Production – Social Model Design Competition

The objective of this competition is to design social models that contribute to the formation of Türkiye’s brand value, reduce imports while increasing exports, promote the widespread use of Turkish products both domestically and globally, and enable Türkiye to become a world leader in all areas of production. Participants are expected to propose social models that realize this vision.

Türkiye’s emergence as a global leader in production will not only support economic growth but also reduce external dependency and enhance the competitiveness of domestic brands in international markets. In this context, participants are expected to design projects that encourage domestic production, support innovation, develop sustainable production models, enhance Türkiye’s production capacity, establish national brand values, and promote the expansion of Turkish brands into global markets. The scope of the competition also includes solutions that reduce imports and meet domestic demand through local production, strategies to create new markets, trade policies aimed at increasing exports, and models that improve the efficiency of production processes. The overarching aim is to develop innovative social models that will position Türkiye as a global power in the field of production.

SAMPLE MODEL

Education Level: Graduate / Free
Theme: The Türkiye Yüzyılı in Production

Social Model Title: Domestic Production Ecosystem (DPE)

Unique Value: The DPE is a social model aimed at increasing Türkiye’s domestic production capacity, establishing world-class brands, and making Turkish products globally preferred. It promotes sustainable production and export by supporting young entrepreneurs and SMEs.

Model Methodology: Within the scope of DPE, a "Digital Production Platform" is established for local producers. This platform provides services such as design, marketing, and export consultancy. Training programs, technology transfer, and R&D projects are used to enhance production quality. Awareness campaigns are launched under the “Made in Türkiye” label to strengthen global recognition. Innovative products are developed in cooperation with universities and industry and introduced at international trade fairs.

Model Feasibility: The model can be implemented in collaboration with the Ministry of Trade, KOSGEB, TÜBİTAK, and the private sector. Funding can be sourced from public and international grant programs.

Widespread Impact: The global brand value of Turkish products increases, export volumes expand, and dependency on imports decreases. Türkiye rises to a leadership position in global production with high-tech, high-value-added products.
