10. The Türkiye Yüzyılı in Global Peace – Social Model Design Competition

The aim of this competition is to design social models that propose policies and strategies to establish and promote peace globally. Participants are expected to develop social models that fulfil this mission.

Peace is not merely the absence of armed conflict; it is the construction of a world governed by justice, equality, and mutual understanding. With its historical legacy and rich cultural heritage, Türkiye holds significant potential to contribute to global peace. In this context, participants are expected to develop diplomatic strategies that promote peace in international relations, educational programs that foster cultural understanding, conflict resolution methods, projects that strengthen global cooperation, and solutions that ensure social harmony. Furthermore, innovative ideas that serve the cause of peace—such as addressing human rights violations and supporting refugees and victims of war—will also be of vital importance. The overarching goal is to implement social models that can help establish lasting global peace and position Türkiye as a leading force in this endeavour.

Social Model Title: Global Peace Diplomats Network

Unique Value: This project presents a youth-focused diplomacy model aimed at enhancing Turkey’s peace initiatives on the international stage and supporting sustainable peace. It seeks to create an environment of dialogue and cooperation by bringing together individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Model Methodology: A Türkiye-based “Peace Academy” is to be established, offering international training programs. Participants receive education on conflict resolution, human rights, and sustainable peace policies. Graduates of the academy become members of the Global Peace Diplomats Network and are encouraged to develop local peace-oriented projects in their own countries. An annual “Peace Forum” is held to facilitate the exchange of ideas and experiences.

Model Feasibility: The model can be implemented through cooperation with national agencies in Turkey, international organizations, and universities. Funding may be obtained through international support and sponsorships.

Widespread Impact: Peace awareness increases among young people, intercultural dialogue is strengthened, and meaningful contributions are made to global peace initiatives. Turkey is positioned as a pioneering country in the construction of sustainable peace.
