3. Social Model Design Competition: Information Technology Applications in Practicing Islam
The aim of this competition is to design social models that facilitate the practice of Islamic principles and rules through information technology applications. Participants are expected to develop social models that fulfil this purpose.
Information technologies have become integrated into every aspect of modern life and have significantly shaped social structures. In this context, participants are expected to propose solutions that make the core teachings, moral values, acts of worship, social responsibilities, and interpersonal relations in Islam more accessible and applicable through digital platforms. Example projects might include offering Islamic education through digital platforms, creating applications that provide easy access to Islamic knowledge, interactive platforms based on religious information, or systems that enable tracking of Islamic obligations such as zakat and sadaqah in digital environments. Furthermore, mobile applications, social media strategies, and digital engagement projects that help integrate Islamic teachings into daily life are also within the scope of this competition. The ultimate goal is to spread Islamic teachings via digital platforms in a manner suited to contemporary needs, making them easier to practice in daily life.
