Halal and Healthy Living

6. Social Model Design Competition: Halal and Healthy Living

Halal and healthy living is a lifestyle that protects individuals from harmful consumption habits and unhealthy living practices. This competition aims to develop a lifestyle that enables Muslims to live in accordance with Islamic principles—both halal and health-conscious. Participants are expected to design social models that fulfil this objective.

Islam places great importance on both physical and spiritual health. This lifestyle promotes avoiding harmful habits, unhealthy foods, and toxic substances, while aiming to preserve both body and soul. In this context, participants are expected to develop healthy living models that align with Islamic teachings—focusing on halal food, balanced nutrition, physical activity, stress management, and general lifestyle habits. Projects may also address eco-conscious living, sustainability, and the protection of natural resources.

The models may include strategies that facilitate access to halal food, promote healthy living habits, and help individuals avoid harmful behaviours. The ultimate goal is to propose social models that allow people to maintain a healthy lifestyle while remaining faithful to the Islamic concept of halal living.
